The author is a Ph.D.-level scientists and a "naturalized" American. He started his career in an international healthcare company and opted to be transferred to the U.S.A. He now works as a professional in a Biotech company, leading a department of 80 scientists. He has authored or co-authored a number of scientific papers. He mainly reads non-fiction, loves Sci-fi movies, and likes gardening, cooking, traveling – and writing. He has been writing on the side, and his works include two published SciFi novels, an unpublished literarly novel and a published cultural guide to the U.S.A.

Who is L. Dieudonné Lemmert? Dieudonné is not the author's real name. Dieudonné could be understood as the author's alter ego or his lost twin brother. Someone he could have been, or still is in a less obvious way. Someone with a less streamlined career - someone more meandering, more attuned to nature and the mystery of relationships among all living beings.
